The Kids in the Hall, Mr. Show, Monty Python, The Coen Brothers, Quentin

Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, The BBC, your

mom, samurais 'n' ninjas, Kung Fu movies, Rogers and Hammerstein,

Kander and Ebb, Peaches and Herb, Upright Citizens Brigade, the

chupacabra,things that are funny, things that are smart, things that are

sexy, and unicorns.

As an improv group The Liberators have made up funny scenarios directly in front of audiences while on stage. And the audiences laughed. They have performed together,separately, and in various combinations at The Winningstad, Portland Center Stage, Mississippi Studios, The Woods, The Coho Theater, The Milagro Theater, The Brody Theater, The Roseland, The Someday Lounge, The Wonder Ballroom, The Aladdin, The Market Theater (Seattle), The Curious Comedy Theater, as well as in short films:

- Official Selection Festival Du Cannes - International grand prize winner of 48 Hour Film Project - in collaboration with Cinema Syndicate

 

 The Lethal Connection - The Liberators first solo entry into the 48 Hour Film Project

Time Bike - Written and directed by John Breen and starring The Liberators. Premiered at the Filmed by Bike Festival in 2007.
